Sachin has amassed 70000 runs in his cricketing career spanning over 20 years ever since he started playing first class cricket. His exploits in the international arena are beyond any comparison. over 200 wickets and 26000 runs puts all alone at the top of a all time greats list. Yet, the people of his own country are calling for his head.......asking him to quit at 33. Why is this happening? and more importantly...... WHY SHOULD HE QUIT?
Sachin has given the people of India and every cricket fan in the world a reason to watch the great game. He has endured fame with a level head. A feat that few other people have managed. He has given masterful innings after masterful innings for the people to savor. He is the king, the prince, the minister and the jester....... He calls his shots....He can choose when to go out of cricket.....No one is going to or can drop him from the team till then....
But on the down side.....why should this all time great take this insult. Personally I feel its time Sachin stopped raising his hand to volunteer to save the grace of cricket and rather raise a particular finger to all those who critique him and stop giving them the entertainment, the excitement, the pleasure that these people don’t deserve.
The people of India are like pregnant women......their mood swings infact are way more frequent. The moment India wins a match, they adore their cricketers, the next day after a loss they dare burn their effigies. They want their team to be consistent!!.... For god sakes they should be consistent first.
As a true cricket fan and more importantly a fan of the Indian brand of cricket, I certainly feel that the day Sachin goes out, cricket will loose its number one entertainer and magician and Indian cricket itself will receive a blow that it will be unable to recover from.
Sachin our GOD, Sachin our SAVIOR, Sachin - Our SACHIN......... I want to see you go on and on and on ... but we the people dont deserve it...

I think not every man realizes his downfall. Sachin is a great batsman. Each man can do his own thinking. If he thought that with his current form he can save India he was wrong. And as a fan you are even wronger. He should be helping younger talent learn from him. That is where a person becomes a true "MASTER". To my chagrin neither did Sunny nor does the master blaster or for that fact any of the great cricketers we have had in the past have come to accept the bitter truth with grace. Well that is what makes them mortal.....
what ever you call it.. if Sachin is in the team or not.. if Dravid is in the team or not... we are the 2011 champs and thats the bottom line.... "India world cup champs 2011"
KK, I cant believe you still support Sachin Tendulkar ....He may have done whatever he may have done for cricket...but he isnt doing anything any longer.
Secondly, He never takes responsibility...never ever...so stop taking his "wrong" side. HE is the master batsman that never was. And he hasnt done India or even the cricket team any favour man! He has amassed a huge amount of wealth for whatever he claims to have done...
The one thing i agree with you here is he is the one who is to decide whether to quit. Apart from that.. stop supporting him...I dont think at this given moment anyone in our team has anything to justify their performance.

sachin is good batsman...correction..was a good batsman...ur a huge fan of sachin so i geuss in your perspective he is god ..the master ....te genius etc....but then tell me why his holy greatness sucked royally..tht too against bangladesh....and how long before did the master blaster blast the aussie ...like 4yrs back..or fot that matter when has he ever played when it matterd ????.. like the saying goes....form is temp..class is permanent ....now ..sacin has been is form lots of times....but never has he been consistent in recent times....so calling him a genius plzz....he really is jus living in a hollow shell of his past sucess ...but remember tis if sachin decides to still play and walks onto the pitch with a walking stick ..our 2011 chances are as much as a snowball rolled up and tossed in hell.......
india will surely win the 2015 wold cup too...and for that matter 2019 , 2023 , 2027 world cup too but might lose the 2031 world cup ...wht say sriram ???
